No, mambo⁺ is not affected by Log4Shell. Background: In December 2021, a vulnerability has been discovered in the widely used software library Log4j, which can make many computer systems worldwide vulnerable to attack. Servers affected by the vulnerability can be taken over by criminals with little effort and used for their own purposes. The German Federal Office for Information Security has declared the highest warning level for the so-called zero-day gap in the Java library, after countless attack attempts were observed, which were apparently already successful, at least in parts. mambo⁺ has been analyzed immediately after the vulnerability had become public and is not affected by Log4Shell.

An extensive range of different domain abuse cases is covered. mambo⁺ monitors abuse such as phishing, spam, botnets, and malware by continuously scanning different sources (third party and internal). These sources include free and commercial data for example from Spamhaus or URIBL. mambo⁺ processes the information in the system and prepares it for the generation of reports and alerts as well as customer specific workflows. It is fast, reliable, safe, and customizable.

Yes. You may monitor and manage up to 10 domains with a free basic account. However, some features are not available such as automatic reports and alerts.

Yes, every user can view available historic data for the sources he or she is entitled to use.

Go to the Domain Views tab. At the bottom of the screen you will find the possibility to filter your domains as needed. The filter is applied when you click update or press enter in one of the input fields. Once you have applied a filter you can save it via the save button.

You have the chance to create reports via two different ways. Either you configure a report that is periodically sent to you. You can do this in the configuration tab. Alternatively, you can download a report for the currently active domain view. Reports in general are available in PDF and CSV format.

Yes. Each entity (typically a customer/company) in the system can have multiple users. By default, at the beginning of a subscription, we create an entity for you as well as an initial user. Upon request, we can create additional user accounts for you.

Our sources regularly update their data to reflect the removal of domain name abuse. However, this process might require the domain to be "clean" for a certain time. Additionally, a different type of abuse might have been detected for your domain.
